A news anchor named Anne Pressly has been attacked in her home in Arkansas, according to a broadcast report on Fox News. Several local sources have told reporters that Anne Pressly was found in her bed in a gruesome scene where she was reportedly "beaten and with severe cuts or stabs." The 26-year old was found by her mother.
She has been taken to a hospital and the wounds are described as life threatening. The attack is still quite mysterious and a report from the Associated Press cites a police spokesperson that says there were no suspects at this time as investigators are attempting to work the case.
The crime scene will be crucial as police investigate. Little Rock police spokesman Cassandra Davis did give some information to reporters telling them that Anne Pressly's purse is missing and right now they are leaning towards a robbery as a motive for the brutal attack.
Anne Pressly's mother discovered her severely injured daughter when she went to her home this morning after she tried to raise her with a usual morning wake up call.
